Tracy Namulindwa is in top class at Busagazi Community Primary School. She has two sisters, and they live with their father, Patrick Kirya, in Namusenyu Village on Busagazi Island. He grows food crops on a very small piece of land, which cannot produce enough for the family.
Tracy's mother, Phiona Nambi, abandoned the family. Rumors suggest that unknown family conflicts caused the separation. They live in a small, incomplete, and very dusty house with many bedbugs and lice that disturb their sleep. Despite these hardships, Tracy loves school, netball, and music.
At KINGSTONE UGANDA PROJECT, we believe all children deserve an equal chance to thrive. Your sponsorship can ensure a child has enough to eat, an education, and hope for the future. As a sponsor, you'll develop a special relationship with your sponsored child, receiving digital photos, handwritten messages, regular updates, and a monthly 1-5 minute WhatsApp video call.
You can choose a child to sponsor or let our team in Uganda select one in greatest need. It takes only a few minutes to become a sponsor, and you could change a child's life forever. Sponsorship costs just £15 a month, covering food, water, education, and healthcare for a child who walks to school from home.
