He grows food crops on a very small piece of land, which cannot produce enough for the family. Tracy's mother, Phiona Nambi, abandoned the family. Rumors suggest that unknown family conflicts caused the separation. They live in a small, incomplete, and very dusty house with many bedbugs and lice that disturb their sleep. Despite these hardships, Tracy loves school, netball, and music.
