Welcome to Sponsoring and Child, a charity dedicated to providing education for underprivileged children. Join us in making a difference by becoming an education sponsor or funder today.

At KINGSTONE UGANDA PROJECT we believe that all children should have an equal chance to thrive. Your sponsorship will make a big difference to a child in need, ensuring they have enough to eat, an education and hope for the future. As their only sponsor, you will have a special relationship with your sponsored child. You will receive a digital photos, handwritten messages, and regular updates from your child, plus a WhatsApp video call for 1 to 5 minutes once a month. You can choose a child to sponsor or you can leave it to our team in Uganda to decide; they know which children are in greatest need. It only takes a few minutes to become a child sponsor, and you could change a child’s life forever.
Child sponsorship costs just £15 a month and helps to pay for food, water, education, and healthcare for a child who walks to school each day from home. If you can afford £25 a month this will help to pay for food, water, education and healthcare and the child will be a resident in the boarding school. Many Ugandan children attend boarding schools if their families live a distance from the school. Most school provide running water; good toilets and the child can attend even when it rains hard.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The idea behind the "KUP ARTS " Educational Tourism Program is to offer new graduates a unique opportunity to broaden their horizons by experiencing life beyond the borders of the UK. The program aims to provide participants with a profound understanding of the educational landscape in countries like Uganda, especially in remote areas. By immersing themselves in the Ugandan culture and education system, these graduates will enhance their professional profiles and gain valuable life experiences that can set them apart in the competitive job market.

Over the years, Kingstone School has played host to numerous visitors, including Mr. Matthew Milburn, who hails from the UK and was instrumental in the inception of the program. Additionally, the school has received guests from the USA and the UK, albeit for different purposes. These visits have provided glimpses of the transformative power of cultural exchange and education.

As we delve into the "KUP ARTS " Educational Tourism Program, we invite you to embark on a journey that transcends borders, fosters cross-cultural understanding, and empowers the next generation of educators. Through this proposal, we provide a detailed plan for this innovative endeavor that promises to be a remarkable chapter in the story of Kingstone School and its commitment to education and community development.
